About art workers

art workers began out of the desire for inclusion in an industry that is wrought with exclusionary practices. BIPOC & LGBTQ+ creatives are thought of as disruptors, or anomalies in a privileged art, film and literary worlds. What if there was a space where you could feel at home? Where you can hear stories that make you feel seen and heard?

art workers strives to be that space, virtually through storytelling, through writing and in the physical space. art workers strives to amplify voices for the future generations to know that what is happening in this present time is a groundwork for their presence and belonging.
